6 Performance Cars to Hit Indian Roads this Year
Ford Mustang
India had been eagerly waiting for the Mustang monster. It has always been a favorite among the car enthusiasts due to the car’s outstanding performance and mind blowing design. The mustang will be available in three engine options – a 306bhp 2.3-litre, four-cylinder EcoBoost engine, a 296bhp 3.7-litre V6, and a 437bhp 5.0-litre V8 available in two body styles, coupé and convertible. The ones to be launched in India will be the hard-top coupé, with a 437bhp 5.0-litre V8 powertrain mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters. This power horse will be priced at Rs 80 lakh.
Mercedes GLS
The GLS with its facelift is expected to be launched this month and will feature a range-topping seven-seater SUV. The large SUV comes with more features including a free-standing COMAND display and an improved luxurious cabin. The GLS will be powered by the existing 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine paired to the company’s new nine-speed automatic gearbox. This Merc will be priced at 1.60 crore.
