The current President of India, Pranab Mukherjee became the heir to newly fortified Mercedes Benz W221 S-Class S600 Pullman limousine from the former President – Pratibha Patil. The car is powered by a 5.5 liter twin turbo petrol engine and it is equipped with all sorts of maneuvers to safeguard the President from any crisis.
The W221 S-Class S600 can run on flat tyres for more than 5 kms, and it has an air intake system that seals the cabin to escape from chemical weapons. The car is capable of many things such as it can withstand fire from small arms and grenades and it costs more than 
6 Crore.
