The all-electric Ioniq is included within three pronged approach of the Korean maker which also includes hybrid and plug-in variants. The conventional looking all electric variant will sport a 120 HP electric motor that dives the front wheels. Placed under the rear seats, the battery pack is a 28 kWh unit that is expected to offer approximately 170 kilometers driving range. The 100 kW fast charger to be made available by the manufacturer is said to be able to recharge the battery unit upto 80 percent capacity in about 20 minutes.
