2016's Biggest Expected Changes In The Indian Car Industry


BENGALURU: The Indian car market is growing wide with lot more international manufacturers setting their foot into the country. So, with buyers looking at lot more features and newer trends in 2016, here are some of the biggest changes expected in the car industry as compiled by the Cartoq.

Perhaps this is probably the most important factor to be focused in India after the NCAP crash test results. So the government has taken up measures with a safety program called the Bharat New vehicle Safety Assessment program which is yet to come into force.

Much before the rule could kick in, some of the car manufacturers have already taken safety measures and have started offering Airbags and ABS on the all the variants of their cars. Apparently Mahindra’s TUV 300 is the first vehicle to meet all the norms of the Government safety program.
