2016 Range Rover Evoque Launched in India At 47.1 lakh


sdBENGALURU: Land Rover, Tata Motors-owned British luxury SUV maker, on Thursday launched the 2016 Range Rover Evoque facelift in the country at a starting price of Rs 47.1 lakh. Priced between Rs 47.1 Lakh and Rs 63.2 lakh, Range Rover Evoque  is expected to grow above the industry average this year, according to dnaindia.com.

The New Range Rover Evoque is the ultimate statement of style and luxury for the young at heart. This luxury SUV has been setting benchmarks in the industry since its launch. For 2016, the luxury British SUV gets slim-line LED fog-lamps and a wider tow-eye cover which is aimed to enhance the new front bumper design. The enlarged air intakes are designed to allude to the new Evoque’s sporting character and create a more planted stance and further emphasize the SUV’s assertive road presence. 

Two new grille designs are available in a range of premium finishes. Evoque’s standard grille is distinguished by two bold horizontal bars and a new fine-mesh grille pattern. Dynamic derivative features a hexagonal design, and its more prominent mesh area lends a suitably performance-oriented character to this sporting derivative. The LED Day-time Running Lights (DRLs) have a new shape creating a distinctive signature which also serves as the directional indicator.

As far as the specs goes, the new 2016 Range Rover Evoque comes with a 2.2 litre, four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that delivers an impressive 190 bhp of power at 3,500 rpm with a maximum torque of 420 Nm at 1,750 rpm.
