Benelli BX250 Motard

DSK Benelli is coming up with India’s first supermotard. The BX250 Motard is designed to be an everyday, fun machine. The BX250 is powered by a 250 cc, liquid cooled four stroke single cylinder engine. This motor pumps out 25 Bhp-21 Nm, and is mated to a 6 speed manual gearbox. Disc brakes at both ends, long travel suspension and a light, 135 Kg kerb weight are other highlights. A launch during November is on the cards, and the bike’s expected to slip in under 3 lakh rupees.

Hero HX250 R

The HX250 will be Hero Motocorp’s flagship bike, and is expected to be launched by the end of 2016. The bike uses a 250 cc four stroke motor, liquid cooled and with 4 valves/cylinder. This engine makes 31 Bhp-21 Nm, and is mated to a 6 speed manual gearbox. It features telescopic front forks and a monoshock rear handle suspension while breaking is handled by disc brakes at both ends. Hero claims a whopping 165 Kph top speed for this bike, which could be made possible by its 139 kilogram kerb weight.
