Ben Horowitz, cofounder of the technology venture capital firm Andreessen Horowiz, puts it succinctly when he says “What is the hard thing about hard things? That they don't have a formula. Horowitz was the CEO of software management firm Opsware, before he sold it to HP for $1.6 billion.
