The Montana Group, which is one of the fastest-growing brands in the food and beverage industry, has recently signed an agreement with Kiscon Hospitality, based in Jalandhar, India. The agreement is to establish 50 Carls Jr restaurants in India. The Montana Group is also the owner and operator of several other brands, such as The Montana Club, The Treasury, and Kingdom of Grills. The company has also brought on board Harpal Sokhi, a celebrity chef, to add his signature 'desi tadka' to their Fun & Young Brand, which includes Dhadoom, Twist of Tadka, Broaster Chicken, The Treasury, BB Jaan, and their upcoming brand named BB Chick, which will soon hit the market.
Kiscon Hospitality holds the franchise rights for the premium burger chain Carls Jr, based in California. This partnership is set to invest $10 million with the aim of opening over 50 new Carls Jr restaurants in the next three years. "We are committed to upholding the brand's legacy while introducing it to a new generation of Indian consumers with our $10 million investment," said Monty Singh, Founder and Chairman of the Montana group. Carl's Jr, present in 39 countries with over 3,800 outlets globally, has been serving chargrilled Californian burgers since 1941. The brand is set to be reintroduced to the Indian market with this investment.
The partnership between Montana group and KHPL shows their commitment to reviving and relaunching this brand in the Indian market. The collaboration aims to bring the essence of California's culinary excellence to discerning Indian consumers while creating 5000 direct and indirect jobs. This joint venture between Montana group and KHPL is not just about offering premium burgers in India.
