Top 4 Athlete Endorsements: Biggest Brands of 'em All in 2019

3. CR7 (Cristiano Ronaldo – Football)

No introduction needed for this Madeira born Portuguese footballer. Skills, Goals, Looks, Style, Fashion, Physique you name it, he’s the number one from the football field (no Leo fans here I guess). Just like Michael Jordan, he received a lifetime contract from Nike. Cristiano also launched his own brand called ‘CR7’ that stretches products from undergarments, footwear, shirts, denims to legacy (fragrances). The five time Ballon d’Or winner even has his own museum that showcases the trophies and memorabilia of his life. Recently he announced that he will be opening a hair transplant clinic in Madrid. Wondering how he is focusing on his footballing career!

Fact: Cristiano Ronaldo jumps at 5G for contextual purposes, G-force is the power it takes to jump, and Ronaldo shares his record with a cheetah.

4. LeBron James (LeBron James – Basketball)

Warren Buffet once commented ‘He’s savvy, smart and mature when it comes to financial matters’. Pretty good compliment for a basketball star. Four MVPs, and three NBA Championships to his name, LeBron is one of the top-men in the whole sporting industry. In 2015, he signed a lifetime contract with Nike worth more than $1 billion (which is the biggest endorsement deal in Nike history). His product line stretches over shoes, bags, t-shirts, hoodies, accessories and more. He makes a whooping $55 million per year from endorsements. Economists estimate that he was worth as much as $500 million to the city of Cleveland. Guess what! LeBron bought two percent stake in the current Champions League Winners of Europe, Liverpool. His partnership with Warner Bros. will be bringing ‘Space Jam 2’, which is a sequel to the famous ‘Space Jam’, which featured Michael Jordan and other Looney Tunes characters.

Fact: He is an ambidextrous. He writes and eats with this left and shoots with right.
