Female Athletes who Made India Proud in 2016
BENGALURU: Few days are remaining in 2016. This year has witnessed many new heroes from various fields. In the sports arena, our players achieved various feats and the female athletes were not left far behind their male counterparts. In fact, they achieved more in Rio Olympics. India got only two medals and both were won by female athletes. Some of the female athletes lost by a whisker, but made the country proud by their excellent performances. The Economic Times listed Indian female athletes who achieved big on the international stage this year.
