Polish GROM

Another elite special force, Polish GROM, joins the same league as the U.S. Navy SEALs and U.S. Army Delta Force. Polish GROM, Poland's elite counter-terrorism unit officially activated in 1990s and the soldiers have been trained on the British SAS principles and standards. During its first few years, GROM remained completely hidden from the public and first came into limelight in 1994, after their military operation in Haiti. This elite group has been involved in several homeland defence missions since its inception and also performs international operations where they work closely with other major ops units. GROM is one of the newest members of NATO as the top commando unit in the world.

Pakistan Special Service Group (SSG)

Pakistan Army’s Special Operations Force, The Special Services Group or SSG is pretty much similar to the British Army’s SAS and the U.S. Army’s Special Forces. Headquartered in Cherat, the SSG is headed by a Major-General and divided into ten battalions, but the actual strength of the battalions is highly classified. Formed in 1956, this elite group is considered as one of the top Special Forces in the world because of their courage and bravery. It has been trained to perform missions such as Counter-Terrorist, Asymmetric Warfare, Special Operations, Counter-Proliferation, Unconventional Warfare, Foreign Internal Defense and many more.
