World's Best Places to Be Born In 2013



Sweden:
Sweden is the fourth best place to be born in 2013. It has an index score of 8.02. Sweden is known to have the world's eighth highest per capita income. It ranked fourth in the world in ‘The Economist's Democracy Index’ in 2011, and tenth in the United Nations' Human Development Index.

As per the UN, it has the third lowest infant mortality rate in the world. Sweden is also one of the world's most equal countries in terms of income.

Denmark:
Denmark takes the fifth place on the list with an index score of 8.01. Denmark has the world's highest level of income equality, and has the one of the world's highest per capita income. It has often been ranked as the happiest and least corrupt country in the world. As per reports 73 percent of the people aged 15 to 64 in Denmark have a job and 76 percent of adults aged 25-64 have earned the equivalent of a high-school degree. The life expectancy at birth in Denmark is 79 years.
