WeWork India Expands Presence with Two New Buildings
Flexible workspace provider WeWork India announced the expansion of its operations in the country by signing lease agreements for two new buildings, set to open in the coming months. The new buildings, HQ27 in Gurugram and Amanora Crest in Pune, are located in strategic business hubs and are poised to elevate the workspace experience for professionals and enterprises.
The addition of the two new locations will bring over 3,100 desks across 183,000 square feet of space to WeWork India's existing portfolio. Arnav S. Gusain, Head of Real Estate, Product, and Procurement at WeWork India, noted that as more organizations adopt hybrid work models, demand for flexible spaces continues to rise. The expansion will address this need while enhancing the workforce experience with holistic, tech-enabled solutions.
In Pune, the company will engage in an owner-operator model for the Amanora Crest building, with capital expenditure and profit and loss responsibilities handled by the landlord.
Last year, WeWork India added two new buildings Manyata Redwood in Bengaluru and RMZ Spire in Hyderabad—to its portfolio, contributing over 4,000 desks across approximately 272,000 square feet of space. The company's ongoing expansion demonstrates its commitment to providing adaptable workspaces tailored to the evolving needs of modern organizations and professionals.
