Uttar Pradesh Launches Ayodhya Tour on World Tourism Day 2025
  • UP Tourism launches a one-day guided tour of Ayodhya and Naimisharanya.
  • The package combines spiritual exploration with modern travel conveniences.
  • Special discounts and accessibility options make the tour inclusive for all travelers.

To mark World Tourism Day 2025, the Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (UPSTDC) has introduced a special one-day guided tour of Ayodhya and Naimisharanya. The initiative aims to connect travelers with the region’s rich spiritual and cultural legacy while promoting inclusive and accessible tourism.

The tour offers visitors a chance to explore Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ram, and Naimisharanya, where Maharishi Vedavyasa is believed to have compiled the Vedas. Both cities hold immense significance in India’s religious and cultural history.

The package is designed to provide a hassle free travel experience with inclusions such as lunch, refreshments, local guides, and even a souvenir. Guides will share stories and legends behind each site, giving travelers a deeper connection to the spiritual heritage of Uttar Pradesh.

Accessibility is a key feature of this initiative. Senior citizens benefit from special discounts, and an easy online booking system makes registration convenient for all. UPSTDC has ensured the tour is comfortable for families, elderly participants, and those with mobility concerns.

The initiative also aligns with the global theme of sustainable and inclusive tourism, highlighting Uttar Pradesh as a leading destination for religious tourism. With upcoming events like Ayodhya’s grand Diwali celebrations in October, the state is further strengthening its cultural appeal.

By blending spiritual exploration with modern travel, the Ayodhya guided tour not only promotes sacred destinations but also sets a model for accessible and sustainable tourism in India.
