Modi’s Government launched a new urban renewal scheme this year. This scheme focuses on making the urban cities of India more livable by improving the civic infrastructure and bringing in development in the cities. The vision is to make the cities more attractive to draw more investors from across the world.
This mission will receive an outlay of 
48,000 Cr over the next five years.
