Yet another port city down south cannot be ignored. Chennai is the second largest exporter of IT and IT enabled services (ITes). Like any other southern city in India, Chennai excels in automobiles, software services, medical tourism, hardware manufacturing and financial services. Chennai accounts for about 50 pct of total exports in the country. Automobile giants like Ford, Nissan, BMW etc are headquartered in Chennai and hence it is the “Detroit of India.” Certainly!

Allahabad, part of vibrant Gujarat, doesn’t need any better reason to explain why it is developed. PM’s home state is a major contributor too. The city is home to organizations like Adani Group, Nirma, Arvind Mills, Cadila, and Torrent Pharmaceuticals. Ahmedabad is country’s largest supplier of denim and largest exporter of gems and jewelry. Modi’s air is gradually helping the city to emerge as next financial hub.
