2. Manmohan Singh and Gursharan Kaur:
Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh’s love for his wife, Gursharan Kaur is blooming since the time they stepped into the institution of marriage five decades ago in 1958. Gursharan always stands beside her husband through thick and thin. She never complains that her husband has little time for her but instead gives him greatest pleasure by cooking for him and looking after the grandchildren. As close family friend Reeta Devi Varma puts it, ''He has dreams but no personal ambitions. It's Gursharan who makes him dream and makes his dreams a reality. He's a statesman with an air of innocence and purity, with gentleness and good manners. With her good humour, Gursharan is his inspiration and one of the finest ladies I've met,'' reports TOI.
