Copenhagen

Copenhagen, the capital and most populous city of Denmark, is famous for the cycling culture that has successfully contributed in reducing CO2 gas emission. Since 2005, Greenhouse gas emissions have reduced to 20 percent. And the city’s policy is to reduce CO2 emissions by 20 percent by 2015 and aims to be carbon-neutral by 2015. In Copenhagen, the streets and squares are designed in way to encourage cycling and walking and given less preference to driving. The city is committed to maintain high environmental standards and so, Copenhagen has been recognized for its green economy and received the title “European Green Capital 2014."

Monaco
The second smallest, and the most densely populated, country in the world, Monaco has the highest life expectancy of 89.6 years. However, Monaco is home to world’s maximum number of millionaires and billionaires. World Health Organization has ranked Monaco 13th in the world to have a best health care in 2000. Several green initiatives have been taken under the rule of Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, to make the country as one of the healthiest in the world.
