Zurich

Zurich, the largest city in Switzerland, has approximately 390,000 inhabitants, with the Zurich metropolitan area of 1.83 million. In 2012, Monocle’s "Quality of Life Survey" ranked Zurich first on the list of the top 25 cities in the world "to make a base within". From 2006 TO 2008, several other surveys named Zurich as the city with the best quality of life in the world and also the wealthiest city in Europe. Moreover, the Swiss government spends over 11 percent of GDP for universal healthcare coverage.

Helsinki

The capital city of Finland, Helsinki has very few numbers of cars compared to other capital cities in the world due to less population in order to reduce pollution. In August 2012, in the Economist Intelligence Unit's survey, Helsinki placed at the eighth position while assessing the best and worst cities to live in. Again in 2011, the Monocle Magazine in its ‘Liveable Cities Index 2011’ ranked Helsinki as the most liveable city in the world.
