Tech Mahindra Partners with Fuji TV for Global Content Development

Tech Mahindra has announced a strategic partnership with Japanese broadcaster Fuji Television Network (Fuji TV) to develop and produce diverse content for the global entertainment industry. This collaboration aims to combine Fuji TV's original content with Tech Mahindra's expertise in localisation and animation services, according to a company statement.
The partnership will focus on bringing Fuji TV's extensive content library to Indian audiences in various local languages. "We have partnered with Fuji TV to bring their content library in various local languages to Indian audiences...We see great potential in developing IPs catering to the Indian, Japanese, and other major content markets", said Harshvendra Soin, President, Asia Pacific and Japan Business, Tech Mahindra.
Tech Mahindra will facilitate the localisation of Fuji TV's content for the Indian market through services such as dubbing, subtitling, and animation. Additionally, the company will assist in licensing Fuji TV's content to Over-The-Top (OTT) and PayTV platforms in both India and Japan, broadening the reach of Fuji TV's offerings.
Toru Ota, Executive Vice President of Fuji TV, expressed that the goal of this partnership is not only to expand their business in the Indian market but also to innovate and create content with global appeal. The collaboration is expected to leverage the strengths of both companies to meet the growing demand for high-quality, localised content in the entertainment industry.
