Tech Mahindra: India's No. 1, World's No. 2 in S&P Sustainability Index 2024
Tech Mahindra, a global leader in technology consulting and digital solutions, has been recognized as a sustainability frontrunner by the S&P Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) 2024. The company has achieved the top position in India and secured the second spot globally in the 'TSV IT Services' segment, with a remarkable score of 88 and a 100th percentile ranking.
The "TSV IT Services" segment covers data processing and outsourced services, internet services and infrastructure, and IT consulting. This recognition comes as part of the annual DJSI rebalancing and reconstitution, marking Tech Mahindra's inclusion in the DJSI World Index and DJSI Emerging Markets for the tenth consecutive year. The DJSI World Index includes the top 10% of the largest 2,500 companies in the S&P Global Broad Market Index (BMI) based on economic, environmental, and social criteria.

Tech Mahindra has set ambitious sustainability goals, including achieving Net Zero by 2035, Carbon Neutrality by 2030, and sourcing 90% of its energy from renewable sources by 2030. The organization also aims to become water-positive and achieve 100% Zero Waste to Landfill certification across all owned facilities by 2030.
A key enabler of its sustainability journey is Tech Mahindra’s internal carbon pricing mechanism, which facilitates investments in renewable energy, energy-efficient technologies, and green infrastructure.
