Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has appointed Kritika Saxena as the new Head of Marketing for India, marking a significant step in her five-year journey with the company. Saxena, who earlier led Corporate Communications, shared the news on LinkedIn, calling it an important milestone in her professional growth.

In her expanded role, Saxena will work closely with TCS’s India leadership to strengthen brand visibility and deepen engagement across multiple business segments. She will also steer the company’s flagship 'AcceleratingIndia campaign', which she considers one of her most meaningful initiatives.

Saxena highlighted that her transition from journalism to corporate communications taught her the enduring power of storytelling, something she believes continues to shape her leadership approach. She also credited TCS for fostering a culture that encourages internal career mobility and nurtures homegrown talent.

Before joining TCS, Saxena spent 14 years in business journalism at CNBC-TV18, where she served as Chief of Bureau for Mumbai and South India. She anchored key shows such as After the Bell and India Business Hour, and became known for her sharp insights into India’s corporate and economic landscape.

At TCS, Saxena played a pivotal role in restructuring the communications team and launching TCS Studios, the company’s in-house content and production unit. Her work in communications has earned her multiple accolades, including the prestigious Donald T. Sheehan International Scholarship from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
