Subrata Roy Sahara awarded honorary D Litt degree

Darbhanga: Managing Worker and Chairman Subrata Roy Sahara of Sahara India Pariwar has been awarded with honorary degree D Litt by the Lalit Narain Mithila University. Subrata Roy received this degree for his contributions in the fields of corporate and social missions, Sahara India Pariwar said in a statement. The degree was handed over by Governor of Bihar Devanand Konwar. It is the first time that the Lalit Narain Mithila University , established in 1972, has awarded the honorary D Litt degree to any achiever for his social and corporate contributions, the statement said.
