Schneider Electric has named Amit Sharma as its new Vice President for Power Products and Digital Energy for the Greater India Zone. He takes over from Nikhil Pathak, who retires after nearly 15 years of impactful leadership at the company.

The move highlights Schneider Electric’s continued commitment to nurturing internal talent and reinforcing its leadership pipeline in India. By promoting leaders from within, the company strengthens continuity and deepens its expertise in energy management and automation. Sharma’s appointment reflects the firm’s strategic vision to drive transformation and expand its digital energy footprint in the region.

Welcoming Sharma to his new role, Deepak Sharma, Zone President for Greater India and MD & CEO of Schneider Electric India, praised his 29 years of global and domestic experience. “Amit’s leadership and customer-focused approach will further advance our Power Products & Digital Energy business”, he said. He also lauded Nikhil Pathak’s contribution, noting that his influence and mentorship will be greatly missed.
