Railway Budget: 7 Expectations From Common Man

Differing from last year, this budget will come up with less than 100 new trains. Given the present scenario where the Indian railway is running on a fiscal crisis, the government is likely to keep the number of new trains low.

Budget over years have presented around 150-180 new trains, whereas Prabhu has chosen a different way. He is expected to come up with few new trains in his budget.

The railway budget will focus to meet the customer expectations and provide them with great experiences. The introduction of air conditioned Diesel Electric Multiple Unit and noise-free cabs running on diesel are anticipated.

 The Budget this year is also expected to fulfill Modi’s dreams of high speed trains. The proposal would include a merge of metros and high speed trains regulated by expertise from China and Japan.
