To leverage the transparency in government departments, the government introduces Public Financial Management Systems (PFMS) to keep records of government expenditure. To uplift e-service and to monitor major government project, a real-time operating centre is planned to be set up which will include all free services such as e-Kisan, e-Vidyarthee, and e-Mahila. The new JAM platform by the government will ensure subsidy payments and the platform is destined to be implemented between 2017 and 2019.
All the direct benefit transfers to be updated by an SMS by the end of 2016 and new mobile apps for e-payments of government programmes will be implemented by 2017.
