Nothing Taps Bollywood Star Ranveer Singh as Brand Ambassador
London-based consumer technology brand Nothing has revealed Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh as its latest brand ambassador. Singh will be the face of Nothing smartphones and play a prominent role in the brand's upcoming campaigns, appearing in digital, print, and TVC advertisements for Nothing phones.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the collaboration, Singh stated, "Nothing’s commitment to breaking the clutter in the smartphone industry is truly inspiring. I can't wait to collaborate with Nothing and create something truly exceptional together".
Co-Founder of Nothing, Akis Evangelidis, highlighted the company's expanding ambitions in the Indian market, emphasizing the strategic partnership with Singh as a natural next step to further enhance the brand's growth. Nothing has already established manufacturing facilities and service centers in India.
The announcement comes ahead of Nothing's upcoming smartphone launch, the Phone (2a), scheduled for March 5 in India. The Phone (2a) will feature a custom Dimensity 7200 Pro processor co-engineered with MediaTek, according to a recent company statement. The processor, built on TSMC's latest second-generation 4nm process technology, is expected to deliver efficient performance and high-speed capabilities.
Founded in 2020, Nothing has ventured into the consumer electronics market with the release of three audio products and two smartphones. Additionally, as of September last year, the brand introduced a sub-brand named CMF by Nothing. The partnership with Bollywood star Ranveer Singh aligns with Nothing's strategy to enhance its presence in the competitive Indian smartphone market.
