MyGov Celebrates 10 Years, CEO Pledges to Drive Viksit Bharat by 2047
MyGov, the citizen-centric platform that has revolutionized participatory governance, marked its 10th anniversary. CEO Akash Tripathi used the milestone to reaffirm the platform's commitment to working towards a Viksit Bharat (Developed India) by 2047.
Launched on July 26, 2014, MyGov has grown to over 30 million registered users and boasts a substantial social media following, including 3.3 million on X (formerly Twitter). The platform was designed to bridge the gap between citizens and the government, enhancing engagement through social media and various interactive features.
“Cheers to 10 Years of MyGov! Our numbers are off the charts thanks to you"! MyGov celebrated on X, reflecting on its success in fostering a participatory approach to governance. MyGov collaborates with numerous government bodies and ministries to involve citizens in policy formulation and gather feedback on public issues.
The platform also serves as a vital communication tool for disseminating information about government schemes and programs. It engages users through discussions, polls, surveys, blogs, and on-ground activities, and has a significant presence on social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Indian platforms like Sharechat and Chingari.
Tripathi expressed gratitude to the platform’s users, stating, “Thank you to every citizen who has been part of this journey. Let's continue to strengthen our vibrant community and work towards a Viksit Bharat by 2047 together”.
