Zurich is the most expensive city in the world. The Cost of living index of the city is 170.

It overtook Tokyo for the first time in 20 years. Zurich is the largest city in Switzerland, which is also a leading global city and one among the world's largest financial centers. According to a survey conducted previous year, this city stood in the sixth position. The price for renting an apartment without an elevator outside the city started from $ 1500 onwards. But now the figures have changed.

The country’s business center is the support for many leading financial institutions, including Credit Suisse, Julius Baer and UBS. In addition to its position as a European financial hub, Zurich is well-known for its watch companies and chocolate makers, such as Lindt & Sprüngli.
