South African Airlines (SAA):
With headquarters in Airways Park on the grounds of OR Tambo International Airport, South African Airways (SAA) is the largest airline of South Africa headed by CEO Monwabisi Kalawe. It flies to 38 destinations worldwide from its hub using a fleet of 54 aircraft. But, SAA’s air safety record is amongst the worst in the world. It had some very bad crashes in recent years. South African Airlines came up in 9th place with one hull loss and 159 dead.

Thai Airways:
Thai Airways is the national flag carrier of Thailand. Formed in 1988, the airline has its corporate headquarters in Bangkok and primarily operates out of Suvarnabhumi Airport. Using a fleet of over 80 aircraft, Thai Airways flies to 75 destinations in 35 countries from its hub at Suvarnabhumi Airport.
Throughout 2000s, Thai Airways struggled with financial hardship and re-branding. It is now one of the most successful airlines in Asia. Unfortunately, it came up in 8th place with five hull losses and 309 dead.
