Bangalore: Social media like Twitter has grown significantly in a developing nation like India over the past few years. There are approximately 5 million Twitter users in this country. Twitter is noted to be essentially a popular medium for a certain section of upwardly mobile Indians and the elite. Many twitterati often takes on to twitter to voice out their opinion on a certain topic that ultimately does not go down too well with the masses. Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi Chief Minister is indeed controversy’s favourite child. This is because whatever he does or speaks becomes a controversy. Kejriwal’s Twitter account has 1.2 million followers and pompously announces to his followers that a ‘Political revolution in India has begun. Bharat jaldi badlega. (India will change soon).’ But, most recently he was found himself in the middle of a Twitter row when he retweeted music director Vishal Dadlani’s post, "Stuck between a moron and a murderer....what now, India!?" The comment was made by the music maestro after an interview of Rahul Gandhi was aired by a private news channel. The tweets were apparently aimed at Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, reports PTI.
