Speaking on the same, he said that first, a party must make sure to build civic and political organizations to form the foundation of a strong civic culture. Next, during his walkathon, he spoke to people at large about safeguarding elections to promote open and democratic elections. Parties must also conduct voter education campaigns and organize election monitoring to ensure that the polling reflects the will of the people.

Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka also pointed out that political parties must promote accountability and openness and build legislatures and local governments that are highly driven, professional, open and responsive to their people.
