Google’s Person Finder

The giant search engine lost an employee in the Nepal disaster and now it’s helping the victims with the rescue work. The company is contributing to search the thousands of people who went missing after the earthquake attacked the nation and is helping the victims to reconnect with their loved ones. Google designed a tool ‘Person Finder’ which collects information of the people in the affected area thereby creating a list where you can look for people or can report of someone being safe. Furthermore Google has also reduced the call rates on Google voice calling from 19 cents per minute to 1 cent per minute.
