Former AZB & Partners lawyer Jaishree Tolani has joined Godfrey Phillips India as General Counsel, stepping into the role following the resignation of Rajesh Nair, who previously served as Vice President - Legal.
Tolani brings over 14 years of rich legal experience, having been associated with AZB & Partners since 2010, where she rose to the position of Partner. After departing from the firm in December 2023, she continued to work as an Independent Legal Practitioner and ‘Of Counsel’ to AZB.
Her practice areas span a wide range of legal domains, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, venture capital, banking and finance, capital markets, litigation, and general corporate advisory. Tolani has advised numerous corporate clients across diverse sectors such as manufacturing, e-commerce, BFSI, media, telecom, aviation, healthcare, hospitality, renewable energy, and education.
