Infosys Launches AI-First GCC Model to Enable Next-Gen Enterprise Innovation Hubs
  • Infosys launches a new AI-first global capability center (GCC) model to help enterprises build and scale AI-led innovation hubs.
  • The model integrates Infosys’ key AI platforms to support end-to-end setup, talent development, and operational readiness.
  • It offers flexible build models and a full lifecycle framework to accelerate enterprise-wide AI transformation.

Infosys has introduced an AI-first Global Capability Center (GCC) model aimed at helping companies build next-generation innovation hubs anchored in artificial intelligence. The company said the model provides a clear and structured path for enterprises to set up, expand, and modernize their GCCs with agility and speed.

According to Infosys, the AI-first GCC model supports the full transformation lifecycle strategy, site selection, entity formation, hiring, and operational launch. It integrates three core AI platforms, Infosys Agentic Foundry, which enables production-grade AI agents; EdgeVerve AI Next, a unified AI fabric; and Infosys Topaz, which powers AI-first services across the GCC journey.

The company said the framework draws on its experience managing over 100 GCC engagements worldwide for clients including Lufthansa Systems, zooplus, and Danske Bank. This experience has helped global enterprises overcome challenges related to scaling, capability expansion, and rapid execution.

Infosys added that the model supports multiple operational structures such as build-operate-transfer (BOT), assisted builds, joint ventures, and partner-hosted models. This flexibility allows enterprises to choose the most efficient setup based on their growth priorities and AI ambitions.
