Indus Towers appoints Anil Gupta to the CTDO role
Indus Towers, a prominent telecom infrastructure company in India, has announced key changes in its senior management team. Anil Gupta, previously serving as the chief supply chain management officer, has been elevated to the position of chief technology and delivery officer (CTDO), effective April 1, 2024. This move reflects the company's strategic focus on technological advancement and efficient delivery mechanisms.
While Gupta assumes his new role, the current Chief Technology Officer (CTO), R Ramanujam, will retain his position but will no longer be part of the senior management cadre due to a change in reporting structure, as disclosed in a recent stock exchange filing.
These changes come amidst a series of leadership transitions within Indus Towers. In December 2023, Neeti Wahi was appointed as the chief digital and information technology officer, highlighting the company's commitment to digital innovation. Earlier, in January 2023, Prachur Sah took over as the managing director and chief executive officer, succeeding Bimal Dalal, who resigned in 2022.
Indus Towers, known as one of the largest tower suppliers in India, continues to navigate industry dynamics with strategic leadership appointments aimed at driving growth and operational excellence.
