India-US Join Hands to Drive Clean Energy Technologies Deployment
A summit between the US secretary and the Indian ministry of petroleum and natural gas is likely to take place to enhance the US-India Strategic Clean Energy Partnership
A ministerial dialogue between the Indian Union Minister for petroleum and natural gas and the US Secretary of Energy will likely be held on October 7. Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and secretary Jennifer Granholm will address issues on the US-India Strategic Clean Energy Partnership (USISCEP).
The USISCEP’s regulations were upgraded lately per the US-India Climate and Clean Energy Agenda 2030 Partnership proposed by President Joe Biden in collaboration with Indian president Narendra Modi in 2021. Through the partnership, evolving clean energy technologies will likely accelerate with a major deployment of technical solutions. Leveraging these solutions highly relies on pillars like responsible oil and gas, power and energy efficiency, renewable energy, sustainable growth, and emerging fuels and technologies.
As per the sources of the ministry of petroleum and natural Gas, minister Puri has planned to lead an official and business delegation to Washington DC and Houston. The negotiation is scheduled for between 6 and 11 of October, where he will interact with World Bank Officials corresponding to the climate resilient urban infrastructure.
Besides, Mr. Puri will participate in two roundtables with the US-India Business Council in Washington, DC and the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum in Houston during his visit. He is all geared up for a progressive discussion with the CEOs of the US-based energy companies to reinforce the planned approach.
Despite the rising global conflicts, the minister's visit holds crucial significance in the energy market worldwide owing to the diversification of energy sources in countries and an accelerated need for renewable energy.
