Madrid-based real estate firm IndiaLand, renowned globally, has made significant strides in its urban transformation vision through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Tamil Nadu Government. The key emphasis of this partnership is on the creation and development of the IndiaLand Tech Park in Coimbatore. The imminent introduction of D Tower in the near future, contributing an additional 500,000 sq. ft of leasable space, will significantly boost the total capacity of the tech park to an impressive 1.8 million sq. ft. This expansion marks a significant stride in augmenting the IT Special Economic Zone (SEZ) areas within the city. Furthermore, the excitement surrounding the forthcoming Tower E, which will add another 700,000 sq. ft, reinforces the pivotal role of IndiaLand Tech Park in shaping the IT infrastructure of the region.
The importance of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was underscored during the Chennai Global Investor Summit, where it garnered attention in the presence of the esteemed Chief Minister, M. K. Stalin. This official backing from the government marks a significant milestone for the IndiaLand Group, establishing it as a crucial force in enhancing Coimbatore's reputation as a center for innovation and business. This strategic collaboration stands as a clear demonstration of IndiaLand's commitment to promoting innovation and sustainability in the pivotal Indian city of Coimbatore.
Emphasizing sustainable practices, IndiaLand's Tech Park, including developments like D Tower, is set to achieve LEED Certification Gold standards and ISO 14001, representing a blend of aesthetic architectural design and environmental stewardship. Mr. Harish Fabiani, Chairman of IndiaLand Group, remarks during the announcement of the upcoming launch of D Tower as part of this broader initiative, symbolizing a new era of workspace solutions that are ecologically responsible and technologically advanced. IndiaLand CEO, Salai Kumaran, envisions the tech parks as a convergence of technology, sustainability, and innovation. "Our developments, including the latest addition of D Tower, are reflective of our commitment to redefining the workspace of the future", he states.
