IGNOU Extends Registration Date for July 2022 UG, PG Admission, Check How to Apply

The Indira Gandhi National Open University has extended the last date of registration for UG and PG admission for the July 2022 session.

In the recent tweet made by IGNOU, "The last date of Fresh Admission for PG and UG Programme, both for Online and ODL mode (except certificate and semester-based Programme) has been extended till 20th October, 2022,".

With the extension in the last date of form submission, applicants can now register online at the official website of IGNOU admission till October 20, 2022 ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. The registration dates have been extended for both Online and ODL mode. However, the extension in dates is not made for the semester based courses and certification programs.

How to Register for UG and PG Admission

The registration process to apply for the July 2022 session admission is provided below:

  1. Visit the official website of IGNOU, ignou.ac.in
  2. Click on the registration link
  3. Fill in the login details and submit after verifying
  4. Once Registraion is done, fill the application form
  5. Verify all the details, submit the form
  6. Pay the application fees
  7. Download the page and take its printout for future correspondence

The payment of fees can be done online through credit card/ debit card and net banking. Cross-check all the details during the application and verification processes. Notify IGNOU officials within the stipulated time frame about the discrepancy (if found).

Regarding the circulation of fake website and youtube channel being run in the University’s name, IGNOU has clarified and issued a notice recently:

The university said that the website- https://www.ignouadmissions.com/admission-help/ does not belong to it and is fake. Similarly, YouTube channel- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21k4p7jd4A4 which uses the logo of IGNOU is also not authentic.

"Learners/students are informed that the following website/youtube are not belongs to IGNOU and are fake: Fake website: https://www.ignouadmissions.com/admission-help/. Ignou Logo is used in the youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21k4p7jd4A4 (sic)," a notice from the varsity read.
