IAMPhenom India 2025: Illuminating the Future of Talent with Applied AI
IAMPHENOM India 2025 convened CHROs, CIOs, and industry leaders in Bengaluru to explore the transformative impact of applied AI on hiring, onboarding, internal mobility, and talent management. The event kicked off with a dynamic, cinematic showcase of Phenom’s journey, creating an electrifying atmosphere that set the stage for engaging keynotes, compelling customer stories, and deep-dive roundtables all spotlighting real-world AI innovation in HR.
At the event, Phenom introduced a suite of applied AI products for Indian enterprises, including Candidate Fraud Detection Agent, Talent Optimization & Work Redesign, Unified Orchestration Engine, Frontline Workforce & Shift Scheduling, and Voice Screening Agent.
The event also featured a panel discussion on preparing for innovation and the future of work featured industry leaders including Sreyssha George, Managing Director & Partner at BCG; Aditya Sudhindranath, Partner & Chief Strategy Officer at Deloitte South Asia; Kuttappa Bittiananda, GM and Country Manager at Imagination Technologies; and Biswajit Das of AWS, with Hari Bayireddi, President, COO & Co-founder of Phenom, serving as moderator.
During the discussion, Aditya Sudhindranath urged business leaders to focus on areas where AI can create real value, citing applications like AI-powered recruitment and onboarding, and noting that Agentic AI can redesign entire business processes. He emphasized that true transformation combines functional and domain expertise with a ‘10x Mindset’, though cultural resistance remains a barrier.
Kuttappa Bittiananda noted that the new generation of AI is becoming enterprise-ready, emphasizing the need for cohesive, production-scale systems supported by strong discovery and delivery frameworks. He described AI as an ‘inverted perimeter’ that adapts to business needs and highlighted the role of context engineering to ensure relevance and precision in complex enterprise environments.

The session highlighted the growing intersection of HR and technology, emphasizing that collaboration between HR and IT leaders is critical for successful HR tech implementation, cybersecurity, and scalable digital transformation.
It was followed by customer-led sessions that showcased AI in action across the talent lifecycle. Thermo Fisher Scientific demonstrated how AI is accelerating hiring excellence across regions, while WNS shared its onboarding transformation journey that helped reduce early attrition. Dr Reddy’s Laboratories highlighted its approach to strengthening internal mobility and career growth through intelligent talent platforms.
Cricketing legend Anil Kumble, a true legend on the field with insights for life, made a grand entrance at the event, drawing an enthusiastic response from the audience. He recalled his historic 1999 performance against Pakistan in Delhi, where he took all 10 wickets in an innings, a testament to discipline and perseverance. Reflecting on failure and comebacks, Kumble noted that “Success and setbacks are both part of the journey”, emphasizing process over outcomes. He shared that while one day you may be at the top, the next requires starting afresh, making consistency and resilience the true keys to sustained success.
