HUL Appoints Vivek Mittal as Executive Director, Legal & Corporate Affairs
Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), a leading FMCG major, announced the appointment of Vivek Mittal as Executive Director of Legal and Corporate Affairs. He is set to join the company's management committee in March 2025.
Mittal will succeed Dev Bajpai, who recently announced his early retirement in October. Currently, Mittal serves as the Global General Counsel at Dr Reddy's Laboratories, a prominent player in the pharmaceutical sector.
With over 25 years of experience, Mittal has held key positions at various companies, including Danaher Corporation, Lupin, Reliance, Radico Khaitan, India Bulls Group, Caparo India Operations, and Mount Shivalik Industries.
Rohit Jawa, CEO and Managing Director of HUL, expressed confidence in Mittal's capabilities, stating, "His contributions have been instrumental in driving strategic initiatives and ensuring legal and regulatory compliance across industries. I am confident that he will take the HUL legal function to its next phase of growth and transformation".
