GenAI Expert & Nonprofit Leader wins 2 prestigious "Technology for Good" awards this year

Surabhi Sinha, co-founder of TogetherThrive Foundation (TTF) won 2 prestigious business awards for her outstanding contributions in the ‘Technology for Good Space’ through her advisory work at the nonprofit.

Ms. Surabhi received the “Professional of the year 2023” award from the All India Business Community Foundation (AIBCF) on February 15, 2024 in a virtual ceremony held at New Delhi. On March 16, 2024, she also received the “High Flyers 50 Global Icons” award in the Global Icon Awards 2024, 5th edition virtually at Holiday Inn Mumbai International Airport, Mumbai.

The esteemed ‘Business & Community Awards’ that Ms. Surabhi won recognizes individuals, organizations, and members of the business community who have significantly contributed to their field regardless of the number of years in the industry. Ms. Surabhi was one of the youngest recipients of the awards for both the “Professional of the year 2023” award and   the “High Flyers 50 Global Icons” award and she shared the stage among the nation’s top business leaders and civilian award honorees.

The ‘AIBCF’ awards aim to honor those who have made noteworthy achievements in their fields, promoting and encouraging excellence while highlighting those who bring glory to the nation through their endeavors. Panel members of AIBCF include government dignitaries including but not limited to Mr. Joginder Singh, Former Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Hon. Anil Wadhwa, Secretary of the Ministry of External Affairs, Hon. Pratibha Patil, Former President of India among others.

The High Flyers 50 awards are a star-studded event that invites the likes of nation’s highest honors such as Padma Shri awardees, Civilian award honorees, etc. This year, the event was held in the Holiday Inn Mumbai International Airport, Mumbai and the awards were presented by veteran actress Mandakini. A few of the notable winners include Padma Vibhushan Avinash Dixit, Lord Rami Ranger CBE (UK), Dr. Vijay Kalantri (Chairman at the World Trade Center) among others.

Ms. Surabhi is a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer with over 5 years of experience in Generative AI holding a remarkable track record of contributions to the field of Artificial Intelligence. Earlier last year, she co-founded TogetherThrive Foundation, a tech nonprofit organization with a mission to empower individuals by fostering legal awareness and social empowerment. The organization strives to create a community where no one feels alone in their legal journey, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential. Surabhi's impressive career spans significant roles at highly acclaimed organizations, including American Express, and her current position as Machine Learning Engineer at Adobe, a Fortune 500 company.

Ms. Surabhi's exceptional contributions to the broader Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) sector led to her receiving several prestigious awards, such as the Young Achievers Award and the Indian Achievers Award from the Indian Achievers’ Forum, Top Influential Leaders in AI to Watch in 2023” award from the World Data Congress. Beyond this, her work has been covered in extensive media around the world including but not limited to NY Weekly, InspirationFeed, Ziddu, Gizbot, Nagpur Today and Free Press Journal, TechBullion among others. 

With extensive experience in Generative AI and Nonprofit Technology from her time at Adobe and TogetherThrive Foundation, Ms. Surabhi is an active author and judge who is routinely invited to contribute to technical community platforms. She has also been invited to be a keynote speaker in the World Data Congress, where she addresses Tech Leaders from around the world.
