Raj Kapoor: Raj Kapoor needs no introduction.

Called the Charlie Chaplin of India or “The Show-Man,” he is a legend. He worked in Indian cinema and became popular as director, producer, and actor. Born on 14 December 1924 in Peshawar, now Pakistan, to Hindu-Pathan parents, Raj Kapoor set up his own RK Studio at the age of 24 in Mumbai.

He won several awards and recognitions not only in India but worldwide as well. He became a symbol of Indian cinema. His career in Indian cinema started as a clapper boy and later he reached the top of the industry with his own style of movies that set a new trend.

IMGC Global Entertainment now converted the home of the Kapoor family in Peshawar, Pakistan—where Raj Kapoor was born—to a museum with the support of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.
