Eric Garcetti Calls Indian and American Dreams as Two Sided of the Same Coin

Following PM Modi’s successful state visit to the US, leaders in both nations are congratulating them on the effort to strengthen ties between both nations.  

Indian PM Modi’s state visit to the US has marked success for a strengthened US-India relationship and is widely welcomed by leaders in both countries. Eric Garcetti, the US Ambassador to the state, shared a vision that the Indian and American dreams are critically two sides of the same coin.

Garcetti recently attended an event at IIT Delhi, where he passed the remark that India and the US share a common vision and mission, denoting them as two varied sides of the same coin. Individuals in both nations aim to achieve success by embracing seamless possibilities, opportunities, innovative knowledge, and chances to make a difference on the horizon. He summed up a more notable goal of contributing to global development and a security-driven world through the established India-US partnership.

Garcetti hailed PM Modi’s leadership and his key role in developing India for a better future, praising the latter's career growth from a tea-selling young boy to a celebrated leader. He also mentioned President Droupati Murmu’s growth from a Santali teacher, improvising lives and striving towards eradicating poverty via transformative technology.

The connection between India and the US is highly personal, based on affinity and friendship, as both nations are linked by a diaspora community of almost four million wide population. Education and business-driven connections, alongside an appreciation for each other’s cultures, strengthen the friendship between the nations with shared experience and ambition.
