Digvijay Takes a Dig at Gadkari's Remark Against Vivekanand

New Delhi: Congress leader Digvijay Singh today took a dig at the BJP over its chief Nitin Gadkari’s remark that the intelligence quotient level of Swami Vivekanand and Dawood Ibrahim could have been almost the same.

“In a function in Bhopal Gadkari said ‘IQ of Swami Vivekanand and Dawood Ibrahim was same’. Any comment from (Narendra) Modi and his fans?” Singh said on Twitter.

Addressing an award ceremony in Bhopal, Gadkari had said, “As per psychology if we can compare the IQ level of Swami Vivekanand and that of Dawood Ibrahim, then it could have been almost the same. But Vivekanand used it in nation building, brotherhood and spiritualism while Dawood used that in excelling in crime world”.

Singh, who has been targeting the BJP chief over his business links, asked “why do people question my credibility. Whatever I have said has come correct”.

In his tweets, he had said “Gadkari involved in setting up bogus companies – Correct: Gadkari a businessman – Correct”

To buttress the point that he has always been proved correct on the issues he had raised, Singh posted a number of tweets today.

“Sangh involved in terror – Correct; Anna agitation supported by RSS – Correct; Team Anna politically ambitious – Correct; Ramdev a thug – Correct; Balkrishna passport and degrees forged -Correct; Thackeray family from Bihar – Correct

“Kejriwal politically ambitious and wants to assume power without fighting elections – Correct; Kejriwal getting foreign funding to foment civil disobedience – Correct,” he said in the tweets.

Singh added “would my detractors on social media please reconsider their opinion?” Speaking to reporters in his home town Raghogarh in Madhya Pradesh, the Congress General Secretary said that by equating the IQs of Vivekanand with that of Dawood, the BJP chief had done nothing but talk in the language of the Sangh.

“The Sangh used to talk like this and Gadkari who comes from the RSS has simply followed it,” he said.
