Countries Where the World's Richest Live


Bangalore: Countries which have the highest debt appetite and create wealth in times of an economic slowdown are not many.  The Credit Suisse Global Wealth Report has come up with countries with the most affluent rating. The countries are valued on ‘Ultra high net worth individuals’ this year, these individuals have a net asset exceeding 50million as per the report. India took the 12th place on the list with 1,550 UHNW Individuals. The top ten countries with the highest net worth individuals in the world are:

USA
USA has been reported to reside the maximum number of rich and wealthy individuals. With a number of 37,950 it’s not just on the top of the chart but it wins by a vast difference. It even shows an increase of 962number of millionaires from 2011 to 2012. The report makes speculations that USA must remain on the top of this league by 201. As for wealth, which is expressed in pyramid with the poorer at the base and the rich at the peak, USA has landed the peak and is sure to stay for a while.

China
China follows USA taking the second place with 4,700 individuals, the number doesn’t even make it close to the estimate of USA and even then China has managed to get the number two spot. China was one of the countries at the lower levels of the wealth pyramid when it started but with the advances in economy and successful entrepreneurship it has pulled itself among the affluent. This has started a trend of wealth inequality in China at a steady rate however, there were no major addition to the millionaire’s number seen in the last one year.
