The excise duty on tobacco products has been increased by 10-15%. This means you will have to spend more for every puff you have. Ironically, this is applicable on various tobacco products other than bidi. Is this a way to promote Indian small-scale businesses or a way to say that rich must not die of cancer, can’t really be determined!
