Indian students pursuing engineering and technology now have a new opportunity to pursue higher education in Austria, thanks to a new agreement between VFS Education Services and three leading Austrian Technical Universities (TUs). The initiative will allow eligible Indian graduates to enroll in a two-year master’s degree programme that combines academic study with practical industry exposure.
The collaboration aims to streamline the admission process for Indian students from recognized institutions and enhance their access to world-class, yet affordable, higher education in Austria. The master’s programme also offers valuable hands-on experience through on-campus placements and career events featuring industry leaders.
Zubin Karkaria, Founder and CEO of VFS Global Group, highlighted the broader impact of the initiative, stating, “This not only provides students with international academic and career opportunities but also reflects our commitment to building better futures and fostering global educational cooperation”.
Upon completing their degrees, students will be eligible for a one-year post-study work visa extension, giving them the chance to gain international professional experience and expand their global career prospects.
The initiative marks a significant step in strengthening Indo-Austrian educational ties and broadening global learning pathways for Indian students in STEM fields.
