Anurag Mehrotra Appointed as Managing Director of JSW MG Motor India
JSW MG Motor India has welcomed Anurag Mehrotra as its new Managing Director. With more than three decades of experience in the automotive industry, Mehrotra has extensive knowledge in sales, marketing, strategy, and business development. His past positions include Vice President of Strategy & International Business at Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles and President & Managing Director at Ford India.
Yu De, President Assistant to the SAIC President and Chief of International Operations at SAIC Motor, was confident that Mehrotra would excel, stating, "Anurag's cross-industry experience and in-depth knowledge of domestic and international market trends will be key to driving the expansion of the company".
Mehrotra will be based in Gurugram and will be responsible for spearheading strategic growth programs and developing the company's four brand pillars of diversity, experience, innovation, and community.
Rajeev Chaba, JSW MG Motor India CEO Emeritus, will remain committed as a Joint Steering Committee member, guiding the management and shareholders in this transition phase of leadership.
