The Democratic Party's Indian-Americans are raising the immigrants standards following their appointments into the House of Representatives positions                                                        

The Indian-American diaspora in the American Government constituency is likely to achieve an increased success rate in the House of Representatives following the incumbents, Mr. Ami Bera, Mr. Raja Krishnamoorthi, Ms. Ro Khanna, and Mrs. Pramila Jayapal’s re-election. Another pride adds to the glory with Mrs. Aruna Miller’s significant growth as the first Immigrant to hold the office of Lieutenant Governor in Maryland owing to a winning-majority vote by the people.

The 58-year-old democrat holds long roots in Hyderabad and immigrated to the United States at the age of seven, and is a civil engineering graduate from the Missouri University of Science. She served at the local Department of Transportation in Montgomery County for nearly 25 years.

As a representative of District 15 in the Maryland House of Delegates from 2010 to 2018, she ran for Congress in 2018 in Maryland’s Sixth Congressional District and emerged as the second most popular candidate among eight other nominees. Married to Dave Miller, Mrs. Aruna Miller is a mother of three daughters and, is residing in Montgomery County. When Mrs. Miller addressed the gathering via tweet, she expressed her gratitude over the exceeded commitment and support she is receiving and shared her elatedness over the synergic cooperation she holds with the voters.

As mentioned earlier, all four incumbents who are to be re-elected belong to the Democratic party, along with Mrs. Miller, a fellow Democratic party candidate. Thus, the Indian Americans are all set to nail a magnificent history on the US grounds with a maximum immigrant-constituency government soon to be established.
